In a world where no one dies and the sun never sets an ex-priest enlists the help of a rag-tag band of strangers to find the fabled last remaining entrance into paradise.

Judgment Day has come. Most of the world's population and all children have simply vanished. Those remaining cannot die, do not age and exist on an Earth; cursed, frozen in time, where all sources of power and energy have ceased and where daylight never ends. 100 years later, the last chance for redemption rests in an unlikely soul. Steven, a man once of the church, but now devoid of all hope or faith, has spent his days wandering in an apathetic daze. That is until a fateful meeting with a kindred lost soul starts him down the path to his destiny.

After a prophetic vision - that of a young boy - the one rumored key to the last remaining entrance into Heaven - Steven’s apathy transforms to ascertion and his now singular-vision propels him with vigor and determination to find this child and protect him from the villainous and treacherous trainers – the ones thought to be responsible for the decimation of humanity.

As his journey begins, the reluctant yet altruistic hero Steven, acquires an unexpected and unlikely band of champions: a default prostitute, a poet cop, a despondent doctor, a clairvoyant author, two brilliant urban-prophets, and a mysterious stranger whose knowledge of the universe seems almost luminous and transcendent.

Against their will and the forces of time, these eight forgotten souls race to find the boy, the gateway and discover their providence. Faced with the startling revelation that people are once again becoming mortal and that nuclear power is being harnessed by a fanatic visionary set on throwing what's left of the world into tyranny and violence these saviors must travel through hell and back to complete their quest. The journey will put Steven through Herculean tasks, where much will be lost but the culmination of his endeavors will illuminate the true nature of his existence and the unique bond that he shares with the Boy, his companions and the Universe...with an ultimate revelation of biblical proportions.
