Short Term 12 follows Grace (Brie Larson), a twenty-something staff member at a foster care facility as she reckons with caring for the teens in her charge and her own past. This lovingly realized film finds truth and humor in unexpected places.
Short Term 12
Years of bouncing from one foster care home to another have left Mason Jones (Patrick Davis) feeling unwanted and unloved. When the 17-year-old moves in with the Lewis family, they seem just like all of his previous foster parents.
In Name of God
Michael Trainer is a lawyer at the center of a trial in which a for-profit Foster care agency puts a known sex offender into the same foster home as his young client Jamal, with catastrophic results.
Foster Boy
Join foster parents Tim and Wendy as they discuss foster care and adoption. With humor, insight and Christian faith, they share their everyday ups and downs as a foster family hoping to adopt. Get your questions answered about the foster and fost adopt system while following Tim and Wendy?s journey through the process. What?s it like to deal with the system? Are all social workers really jaded? How intrusive is it on your life? All these questions and more will be answered from Tim and Wendy?s real-life perspective. Watch out! You may find yourself thinking about fostering or adopting too!

Thank you for visiting the Never Give Up Foundation radio show. We will
provide a forum for at risk students, their parents, their educators, and their
employers to share successes, frustrations, questions, resources, and ideas. It
is the belief of the Never Give Up Foundation that children with disabilities,
children in foster care, and children who are experiencing difficulties in life have
many strengths on which to build their future success. The Never Give Up
Foundation is dedicated to address the emotional needs of students and their
parents as they learn to embrace their challenges, recognize their strengths,
and accept their unique educational needs so that they may advocate for
necessary and appropriate accommodations. Basically, the Never Give Up
Foundation challenges students, parents, educators, and employers to take the
“dis” out of “disability” and the “risk” out of “at-risk” and to define a student by
their abilities rather than their disabilities or challenges. On this radio show we
hope to have open and respectful conversations between students, parents,
family members, teachers, educators, employers, and anyone else who is
interested in meeting the needs of children.
