Kyle and Sarah are starting a life together in a renovated house in the Hollywood Hills, the same property where the original house burned down with its owner vanished a decade earlier. Despite rumors and warnings from others, the couple follows through with their move, only to encounter bizarre occurrences within the first night in their new home. When one of their friends soon disappears, Kyle and Sarah begin to suspect that they're the new targets of a cat-and-mouse game, one with a predator whose identity – and state of living – has yet to be identified.

Report from the Aleutians is the first of three important movies made by filmmaker John Huston during WWII. Assigned to the Signal Corps in 1942, Huston was sent to Adak in the remote Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska. There, Huston filmed the bitter campaign to oust Japanese forces from Kiska, which they seized during the offensive that led to the Battle of Midway.
Unlike Midway, where America dealt Japan a devastating blow, the battle of the Aleutians was one of attrition. As a result, Huston's portrait focuses on the day-to-day activities of ordinary G.I. Joes, who faced difficult duty in a cold wasteland with courage, resourcefulness, and character. Foremost among these were the pilots and crews who flew monotonous patrols in difficult weather and who experienced real terror while flying bombing raids over Japanese positions. Huston's moving portrait was criticized within the War Department for its tone, but nevertheless received an Oscar nomination in 1944.

History Rediscovered: Submarines at War features four rare WWII-era documentary films, including one in full color, about submarines and the "silent service" during World War II. These include The Silent Service, a vivid history of U.S. submarine operations in the Pacific. Running nearly 40 minutes, this rare color film was produced in 1946, and documents the unrestricted submarine warfare campaign launched by Admiral Charles A. Lockwood against the Japanese merchant fleet. It also features re-enactments of daring attacks against enemy naval targets and includes rare footage of submarines rescuing American airmen forced to ditch at sea. In Now It Can Be Told, you'll witness the dramatic true story of the capture of a German U-boat on the high seas. In the pre-war film Service on Submarines you'll see how recruits rigorously train for undersea assignment, and in the post-WWII film Take 'Er Down you'll see the dawn of the new atomic era as the USS Nautlius slides down the ways.

The Secret Life of Adolf Hitler was one of the first post-WWII documentary films to profile the reviled German dictator. Featuring footage shot by the Nazis and Eva Braun's 16mm home movies, the program revealed first-ever glimpses into the private life of one of history's most ruthless despots. It was also among the first to feature interviews with members of Hitler's inner circle. These include Hitler's only full sibling Paula Hitler, his personal adjutant Julius Schaub, his pilot Hans Bauer, and his chauffer Eric Kempka. The Secret Life of Adolf Hitler may lack modern production values but it is both revealing and historically important. Fifty years after its original release it remains one of the more audacious portraits of one of the 20th Century's madmen.
Director: Walter Engels

It is spring 1809. Katharina's Tyrolean husband, Franz, is arguing with a French soldier in Augsburg's marketplace. It ends with the soldier dead by accident and the young couple fleeing the city for Franz's homeland.
The Holy Land of Tyrol tells the story of the Tyrolean uprising of 1809 in a way it has never been seen previously. The film takes viewers on a breathtaking journey into the past through the lives of a Bavarian physician's daughter and a South Tyrolean mountain farmer's family.
With unique historical images and original locations, The Holy Land of Tyrol captures not only one woman's life, but provides powerful and poetic feelings for the great issues of our time: love, war, religion and the search for our own identity.
The film is a South Tyrolean-Bavarian co-production of director Philipp J. Pamer and producer Florian Reimann demonstrating that 200 years after the war between Bavaria and Tyrol, a shared future through common history is possible.
