House mixes by Chicago's DJ / Producer Steve Smooth who is currently voted as one of America's Favorite DJs. Adored by crowds worldwide, Steve took his skills as a DJ to over 30 different countries in the last 5 years & over 100 shows just last year alone. Currently holding monthly DJ residencies at Crobar (Chicago) & Dream (Miami). Steve's talent as a dj is only matched by his proficiency as a producer with releases on such labels as: Ménage Music (US) & Ministry of Sound (UK). In 2006 Ménage Music released Steve's debut album "The Collection" with production partner, JJ Flores. Together they have remixed for many mainstream artists such as Nelly Furtado, Santana & Chad Kroeger from Nickelback. Their remix of "Dancin" by Aaron Smith was a Top 10 hit in the UK Pop Charts. Early in 2008, Steve signed an exclusive deal to release his & JJ's sophomore album on Ultra Records / Ménage Music. The 1st 2 singles "Being In Love" & "Let It Go" has been charted on all major mix shows & dance radio across the US. On October 7th, 2008 the full length album "Amp'd" was released. "Amp'd" finds Steve teaming up with vocalists such as Colette, Jes, DJ Roland Clark, Alex Peace & More...

DJ Hifi Sean (Sean Dickson) has been pushing the boundaries of music all of his adult life. From his beginnings as singer, songwriter and Producer in the multi-million selling band The Soup Dragons (whose worldwide hits include ‘I’m Free’ and ‘Divine Thing’) to his current incarnation as a cutting edge DJ, Sean is an expert in providing the soundtrack to other peoples’ lives.

Voted in the top 3 best Djs of the year in Boyz magazine London 2010.

After years touring the world and making music Sean’s life took a major turn when he came out in 2002. Though Sean had always DJ’d as a sideline it was at this time that he began taking it seriously as an artistic outlet. For Sean DJing is not simply a case of playing records, it is a creative act. Sean’s sets are full of his own remixes and re-edits that he tailors specifically to take his audience on a personal and unique journey week after week. His mix of ’77 Strings’ by Mantronix was a massive underground hit on the UK and Europe scene and climbed the QX Club chart on audience reaction alone.

It is this commitment to his music and his audience that has seen Sean take up residencies and pack dancefloors in the most popular and cutting edge clubs in London since his move to the capital four years ago. Sean began with a residency at the Orange group where he quickly established himself as a crowd favourite at ‘Juicy’, London’s most exciting and cutting edge circuit party (voted Best Club in the UK 2008).

Sean can also be heard weekly at the capital’s biggest and best afterhours event ‘Beyond’ which is packed with clubbers from 6am -2pm every Sunday. Sean is also promoted his own men only circuit party ‘Loaded’ which launched Easter 2009 with a DJ line up second to none and a rare PA by the legendary Billie Ray Martin .
And also a resident DJ for the Orange group playing Fire and Area nightclubs many parties like the aforementioned Juicy and the UK's biggest afterhours party Beyond .

First off, I would just like to congratulate you on your excellent taste in musiQ. Secondly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to listen to my mixes. I put a lot of time into these in hopes that you will listen and enjoy as much as I do. I put together these very detailed traQ listing is for several reasons. Reason #1: It frustrates me to no end when I get a promo CD & have no way to find out the artist, traQ & remix names. Reason #2: If you're listening to my mixes, odds are... I like you. I would like to go out and have some cocktails with you, on me. Reason #3: I wanted everyone to know exactly what genres of musiQ are actually being played. R&B artists don't like being called 'rappers'. Therefore, all electronic dance musiQ is NOT called 'techno'. Reason #4: I would like any and all feedback from you. What do you like, what do you hate? I want to know it all. You are my audience and I would like any input you may have on my work. Hope to hear from you soon.

I plan on making dozens of different types of mixes. These mixes will be broken into five different categories: Seasonal, Genre, Hommage, Live Sets & Gannon MusiQ. Seasonal mixes, like my "Trick or Beat" mix will be released around the time of their respective holidays. Genre mixes, such as my progressive mix, will be comprised of only one genre of house music & will be released when I feel inspired to create them & can be dropped at any time. Hommage mixes will be compilations of my favorite Producer/DJs tracks. Live sets are pretty explanatory. My Gannon MusiQ mixes are a no holds barred mix and will be comprised of the tracks I am currently obsessed with and want to share with the world. With all that being said, I'd like to thank you all for listening & encourage you to stay tuned for many many more mixes to come! :-)

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, POPPA SIM has always had a strong passion for music. SIM began rapping in his mid-teens, and at the age of 16 he began recording with the independent record label Custom Cutts. After a two-year stint with Custom Cutts, he was working and attending school when he was discovered by super producer Jeremy "Yogi" Graham, who paired SIM up with Morock and Freddy Blassy. The three then formed the group THE HOODFELLAZ. In 2001, THE HOODFELLAZ were signed to Hip-Hop mogul P. DIDDY’s label, BAD BOY RECORDS. While on the label as an artist, SIM also did some ghostwriting, writing for several artists including DIDDY. He artistically partook in the creation of hits such as "Peaches and Cream"remix feat. P.Diddy and Whitney Houston’s "WhatchuLookinAt" feat. P.Diddy... He also made appearances on songs such as "If u Want this Money" (alongside his fellow group members as well as P.Diddy and G-Dep) which can be found on "P. Diddy & The Bad Boy Family’s The Saga Continues" LP and Carl Thomas’ "Emotional Remix". He has also worked with many artists both within and outside the BAD BOY family. " In 2005, the trio came to the mutual decision to pursue solo careers. Recently, POPPA SIM has been working with super producers Sonny Carson, Reefer (of THE GAME’s "One Blood"), and long time friend BangOut (of 50 CENT’s "Disco Inferno").
