If it weren't for the life-sustaining nourishment of eating and the necessity for regular, daily rest this podcast would have just been called "Comics." That's how important comic books are to Dan Larson and Carlton Greene. Each week (for 30 minutes) they vehemently consider the key happenings in the world of comics from the newsworthy, industry shaping moves of the publishers and distributors to the minutiae of costume changes, artistic styles and hypothetical fight scenarios (Wolverine vs. a vampire clone of Batman, tune in to find out who wins!). If you're a die-hard fan of comics, surely their obsession with Marvel and DC will frustrate you. More of a casual fan? Then you probably won't care for the amount of time they dedicate to the merits of 3-member superhero teams versus 5-member superhero teams. There's plenty of reasons for every kind of comic fan to dislike this show, but all of them when asked would have to admit: it's occasionally funny.
