Regenerative medicine is one of science’s new horizons. It holds the promise of
groundbreaking therapies for patients by replacing or regenerating human cells tissues or organs. Different clinical disciplines and technical approaches are involved such as stem cell transplantation, tissue engineering or reprogramming cell types. With any new medical advances there are also issues of public interest to consider. The London Regenerative Medicine Network wants to see a successful and sustainable regenerative medicine industry in the UK and is providing a forum for all aspects of the new regenerative medicine technologies to be presented and discussed. These are podcasts of presentations given since October 2008 and cover research, new medical applications and public viewpoints.
