The Harbinger is a podcast run by two or three dudes, depending on the time of year and whatever works for their schedules. The material covered on the podcast range from the three's collective interest in comics, movies, audio/music, games, and much more. The programming is largely free-form, reflecting podcasts such as Around Comics and SModcast.
The Harbinger was first established by The Dude Von Doom in 2007 during his time as a volunteer DJ at Titan Radio, the internet radio station for California State University Fullerton. (His first show, and predecessor to The Harbinger, was called The Wurlitzer.) The show primarily served as a vehicle for Duder to play some of his favorite metal songs and interview local/underground bands (including Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Exmortus, and Bonded By Blood).
By the next semester, Dude didn't feel like doing a metal/music oriented show anymore, and started a new show, Nerd Rage Radio, which focused more on songs that reflected his geekier, comic book-oritented tastes. Around this time, his friend who would eventually become Captain Man became interested in co-hosting NRR. The two's outrageous dynamic and chemistry was perfect for radio/podcasting, and have begun to garner a loyal fanbase.Recently, over the Summer, the two picked up a friend who would go under the name "Black Bolt" for their first time recording regularly off-air (i.e. when school was not in session). Black Bolt - or Artist Formerly Known As Black Bolt - has become a staple player and completed the Harbinger trinity.
That's our story. Everything else is just, like, your opinion, Iron Man.
