It means that we want to help you to see how you can turn 'dead time' (time spent commuting, exercising, doing chores, etc.) into 'learning time.'

On October 29th SDN held an intensive one day Service Design Conference in Cambridge, Massachusetts U.S.A. The conference was hosted by Microsoft at the New England Research and Development Center with beautiful views over the city of Boston. The atmosphere on the day was creative and focused. The line up included speakers from IDEO, The Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Engine, frog design, The Harvard Business Review, Continuum and Microsoft. Not only did these speakers offer refreshing and inspiring insights into the world of Service Design, our participants enriched the atmosphere with fantastic questions and points. We hope our guests were successful building on your own personal network and make important connections with other participants. We would also like to say a special thank you to our team of volunteers, without whom the conference could not have succeeded.
