A long time ago, in a bedsit not very far away, I wrote a novel about a clever little girl and some flying kung-fu monks. It was OK, but I was a bit young. I have always intended to rewrite it better, but this has languished in the sick bed of old intentions with only a chart-topping remix of the Grange Hill theme and a screenplay about Vampire Chavs killing first year students called \'Town and Gown\' for company.
So, in the hope that necessity will live up to her motherly reputation, I have decided to read it out and podcast it so that - when I run out of rewritten work - I\'ll have a pressing reason to continue.
You never know, it might work.
