While many of the shows have a local focus, most are of general interest. IN*SOURCE, the Indiana Resource Center for Families with Special Needs, was incorporated in 1975 under the name of the Task Force on Education for the Handicapped, Inc. It is governed by a Board of Directors. The mission of IN*SOURCE is to provide parents, families, and service providers in Indiana with the information and training necessary to help assure effective educational programs and appropriate services for children and young adults with disabilities.

WHJE is an award winning, non-commercial educational radio station broadcasting from Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana. This student-run station airs 18 original weekly shows, plus all major Carmel HS sports broadcasts.
